With more than 500 listed buildings and a wealth of history, Ludlow is a great place to explore, when the walking is done and thirsts and appetites need attending to, then one of the best places to head for is The Unicorn. Behind the attractive black-and-white exterior just off the main street, the pub has a spacious bar, a gallery kitchen, and the oak room for added dining, pub games or private parties.

The Unicorn is equally popular with the town's folk, who come here for the hospitality provided by experienced proprietor Graham Moore. The real ales and the good food are produced by his team with a menu built around seasonally available local produce ranging from light nibbles to traditional pub fare offering the best of the regions produce with daily variations. SLATE BAR WITH GALLERY KITCHEN
The Slate Bar at The Unicorn offers good quality pub food, sourced locally whenever possible. Eating in the atmospheric beamed room lets you taste some of the best of home cooked food at affordable prices, with several vegetarian offerings.
The restaurant reflects Ludlow's reputation as a centre of food excellence and is a venue for good food lovers. Our menu usually offers organic local lamb, rare breed beef and fresh seafood. To accompany your delicious fare, we also offer a range of carefully selected wines form Europe and the new world. The current menu on the website is a sample subject to change with daily specials.

THE OAK ROOM
This attractive room is very versatile and can comfortably cater for parties of around 40. These days people love the informality of loose tables so they can chat to their friends. All the facilities of the Unicorn are at your disposal. We also host our own Unicorn Express Jazz Band where local musicians come to play an impromptu jam session. They play mid-month on a Wednesday evening. There is also live acoustic music in the bar on Fridays between 5.00pm and 8.30pm Check our events page for more groups with their dates and times.

BEER GARDEN
Outside at The Unicorn, is situated an attractive riverside terrace and beer garden on the bank of the river Corve. Relax away your summer afternoons and evening here with a good selection of comfortable pub fare. There is also a heated smoking area.
